This is another neat model. Here are some questions:
Do the components of 'balance' balance on eachother? Are they able to move, or tilt independently? Right now they float more than they balance (if you're going with the strictly literal idea of balancing). What if one or more of them overbalanced?
Where is the ground? Is it at the stair landing or at the mouth of the bottom studio?
After Jeremy's demonstration with contouring and undulating tools, are you thinking about remodelling the bottom studio a little bit? (Ok, I kindof forced that into a question).
And here are some observations:
There doesn't seem to be one discrete and unique staircase for each of your studios.
I see from both models that you're drawn to symmetry and regularity. I'm going to watch for you breaking that a little (if the words you've chosen encourage you to).
