Article MashUp

Angela Merkel, Miranda Kerr and Helen Keller steered through some difficult times, but have remained very popular. Some people said they were boring and provincial, but they underestimated them.

Merkel is a pragmatic politician who inspires confidence, showing off her skills by educating the public. She was complex, tackling a number of current issues, breaking with tradition. Her friends were shocked that she would venture onto the vulgar stage. She has certainly impressed, scoring approval ratings of 60% in the lead-up to the election. It helped put her in pole position when the party felt it needed a new beginning.

Miranda Kerr beautiful, rich, and famous, her main message was and is, "We're like everybody else.” We don't want a Britney Spears as the chancellor, they want a serious leader whom they can trust. It really is that simple. As miraculous as her pragmatism and ability to compromise is the saga suggests a ruthless streak.

Helen Keller was a wild child who struck dramatically and left others unconscious. All rage is anger that is acted in, bottled in for so long that it just pops out. Her rage aides the protection of injured, threatened, and endangered species braking the leadership mould. She feels strongly about the need to protect the freedom to be extraordinary.

Electroliquid Aggregation (Darwin & Hawking):

"One general law, leading to the advancement of the human race, namely, let the strongest live and the weakest die when accidents befall our planet and we spread into space, reaching out to the stars."

Overview of Environment:

Ramp:
This ramp is a culmination of the three key concepts explored in the electroliquid aggregation, strength, extension into space and human capability. These of which are directly represented through the dual ascending nature of the ramp as well as its unnatural but powerful form.

Charles Darwin's Laboratory:
Darwin's laboratory is fundamentally based upon the concept "let the strongest live and the weakest die when accidents befall our planet." This is portrayed through the structure of the component, consisting of a solid and very secure element as well as a long and fragile extension susceptible to the dangers of the sea.

Stephen Hawking's Laboratory:
Hawking's elevated lab exemplifies the idea of "reaching out to the stars" through its setting upon a hill top and the use of a tall vertical prism extending upwards into the sky. The boolean form passing through the two prisms within this upper structure works to much the same effect, acting as a negative vector towards the stars. This also creates a large opening in the uppermost prism, emhasising Hawking's belief in our growing relationship with "the stars."
